On Wednesday, February 7th 2024, a group of scientists from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia had the opportunity to visit the Orion manufacturing plant of the Selena Group in Nowa Ruda. This visit was part of our Visegrad project "Improving quality management teaching in the era of Industry 4.0". The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund.

Study visit in US Steel Košice
Thanks to the help of our friends from the Technical University of Košice in Slovakia, we had the opportunity to get to know US Steel Košice. We learned how Industry 4.0 approach is used in the entire steel production process, from raw materials, through hot rolling to galvanized steel sheets.
We would like to thank the management of the enterprise for making the trip possible. In a special way, we would like to thank our guide, Mr František Gregor, who explained the intricacies of production processes to us. He is also the author of the photos.
